The following
sales terms allow us to offer you deeply discounted retail prices
on DIRECTV satellite equipment. We are able to do this through a
DIRECTV national retailer subsidy program where we are reimbursed
only if certain conditions are met. If you currently subscribe to
DIRECTV services, or if you reside in an NRTC area, please call
us for pricing.
Please Read These Terms
Carefully!
Sales terms must be accepted before your order can be processed.
By submitting
acceptance to the following sales terms electronically or by fax,
you agree your understanding and acceptance of:
Terms of Sale for DIRECTV
Satellite Systems and Receivers
I (or the
DIRECTV subscriber I am purchasing for) am a first-time DIRECTV
subscriber, residing in a residential, non-commercial dwelling
within the Continental United States and are at least 18 years of
age.
I (or the
DIRECTV subscriber I am purchasing for) will maintain a
subscription of DIRECTV Select Choice® ($19.99 per
month) or better for 12 consecutive months on each
DIRECTV Receiver purchased from Morton's Satellites.
[Note: In a multi-Receiver set-up, only one Receiver is
charged the full programming rate and all additional
Receivers are $4.99 per month*.] * Additional Receiver
rates may vary in NRTC areas. Some NRTC areas may have an
initial activation fee.
I (or the
DIRECTV subscriber I am purchasing for) will activate
DIRECTV services on each DIRECTV Receiver purchased from
Morton's Satellites within 20 days of receiving the
equipment (unless waived by Morton's Satellites via
e-mail, letter or fax. You must call before reaching the
20-day stipulation).
I (or the
DIRECTV subscriber I am purchasing for) will activate
DIRECTV services using the specific DIRECTV account
number provided by Morton's Satellites. This account
number will be sent to you after purchase and can also be
obtained by calling Morton's Satellites.
I (or the
DIRECTV subscriber I am purchasing for) will activate the
DIRECTV Primary Receiver before any other DIRECTV
Receivers purchased from Morton's Satellites or any other
source (the DIRECTV Primary Receiver is one packaged and
shipped with the satellite dish).
I (or the
DIRECTV subscriber I am purchasing for) will use the
DIRECTV programming access cards only in the Receivers
they have been paired with at the time we receive them
from Morton's Satellites.
Note:
You (or the DIRECTV subscriber you are purchasing
for) MUST activate each access card that is included
in the each DIRECTV Receiver you purchase from
Morton's Satellites. DO NOT Transfer any access card
from an old or currently active DIRECTV receiver to
the new DIRECTV Receiver you purchase from Morton's
Satellites.
If I (or
the DIRECTV subscriber I am purchasing for) fail to
fulfill the terms listed above, I am pre-authorizing
Morton's Satellites to charge the credit card I used to
purchase the merchandise with the following fees:
- A
one-time early cancellation / non-activation fee
of $250.00.
- A
one-time early cancellation / non activation fee
of $125.00 for each additional DIRECTV Receiver
(applicable only in multi-receiver purchases).
By
submitting acceptance to these sales terms electronically
or by fax, I as the purchaser also understand and agree
to pay Morton's Satellites any and all fees associated
with the collection of the above fees, including those
fee amounts, should the credit card I originally used
have insufficient funds or be declined for any reason
whatsoever.
I agree to
abide by the above terms that relate to the satellite dish I am
about to purchase.
NOTE:
For Dish Network the following is required
Sales Agreement
for orders.
To receive the equipment pricing on this web site you must
agree to the following terms:
- 1 All
system orders must be a first time subscriber.
- 2 The
systems receivers must be activated as a primary receiver
(not a stand alone).
- 3
Equipment must be activated within 30 days.
- 4 You must
subscribe to either America's Top 40 or America's Top 100
programming package for 230 days. If you order equipment
and do not meet any of the above requirements, you will
be billed an additional $175.00 for each system and
$40.00 for each stand alone. A system that is purchased
and activated as a stand alone will be billed an
additional $125.00
I agree to
abide by the above terms that relate to the satellite dish I am
about to purchase.
